Background Mailerlite Lietuva
If I asked you to name an email Marketing instrument, what would you say? Mailerlite Lietuva
MailChimp? Aweber? ActiveCampaign?
Like many online businesses now, email advertising has been Dominated by the identical big players for the previous ten years. Which means they get promoted very heavily and achieve a lot of mindshare.
Now and then, however, an Underdog disrupts the marketplace, causing long-time users to question their loyalties.
MailerLite has done precisely that.
So today, in this short article, I’ll be ripping MailerLite from limb To limb to see if it stands its own ground against the big boys…

Like most email marketing providers Nowadays, you will need to Go through a review process before being able to properly use the program.
When you first sign up, you’ll be asked to finish your profile.
This includes information like your organization name, website, Business, address, business size, list size and even the type of material you intend to send.
Then, you need to verify your Website (or domain name).
This is still part of the approval process, and MailerLite will Simply inquire which email is related to that domain so they could email you a confirmation link.
Once you’ve completed those Steps, you’ll need to wait it out.
The MailerLite team will review your application, assess your Site, and determine whether you’re a good match for their services.
(In other words, they are making sure you’re not a spammer/scammer)
As revealed above, you’ll still be Able to use the software to make campaigns and perform with the features, but you won’t be able to send anything until approved.
I had been”partially” approved within a few hours, which gave me a Temporary limit of 500 subscribers.
Here’s what the email said:
However, while these measures are not perfect for getting started, it Does help prevent unscrupulous users from damaging everybody’s deliverability.
If you are anything like me, you’ll rely upon automations to Deal with Nearly all your email marketing.
(We will get to automations shortly, don’t worry.)
But if it is a new blog post, podcast, or timely Announcement, there is always some excuse to send a more immediate email.
That is where’Campaigns’ come in.
Clicking the brand new’Create Campaign’ will provide you several choices.
– Regular effort: A traditional broadcast email.
– A/B split effort: Multiple email Versions, including subject line, from title and, yes, even email content. (Woop!)
– Auto resend: Resend to readers who Do not start your broadcast email, with the option of altering the subject line and email articles.
– RSS campaign: Produce a recurring campaign That sends fresh content to readers using your website’s RSS feed.
Apart from a few additional options, most of these will follow Exactly the exact same step-by-step process of a standard campaign.
So let’s walk you through it.
Once you click on to create your campaign, you’ll be requested to Pick a favorite editor, whether that’s the dragn’ drop, rich text or HTML.
Otherwise, you can change to the Templates tab and choose from one of the pre-designed email templates — that will move you into the dragn’ drop editor by default.
In the time of writing, you’ll find 21 email templates to choose From which is a little on the low side, however, the designs are super modern.
And, of course, if you would just Like to reuse a previous email, you can click on the’Recent Emails’ tab.
For this example, I will choose the first template from the library.
The editor is easy to work with, Making customizing these templates a 5-minute job.
You can also use the cubes in the sidebar to add distinct Kinds of content to your email, such as videos, merchandise columns, and societal links.
After making your adjustments, just click’Done Editing’ and you’ll Be carried to the recipients’ options where you can select your groups or segments.
The tab also allows one To build segment-like rules on-the-fly, in the event your targeting is not quite perfect.
Finally, before sending, you’ll get into the’Schedule’ screen.
This is where you control if your broadcast email should go Out, whether that is instantly, at a set time/date, or in accordance with your readers time zones.
Impressive, right? Mailerlite Lietuva
Handling Your Subscribers
Having granular control over your readers is arguably among The most important aspects of any email marketing software now.
Because highly personalized efforts are necessary if You are looking to increase clicks, opens, and, above all, your own conversions.
And while most providers Permit You to”tag” readers in order To target them more effectively, MailerLite uses a slightly different strategy.
When you open up your subscriber dashboard, you’ll see two Choices; Segments and Groups.
Segments are basically rules.
Your subscribers belong to a segment only when they meet the Specified principles, and are automatically added or removed accordingly.
Here’s what establishing a rule looks like:
Notice the way you can even combine Principles, as well as another rule when the first does not exist.
Pretty smart, eh?
The following tab is for classes, and despite the difference in title, These behave much like your normal”tagging” system.
(MailerLite even debated Changing the title to’Tags’, but finally decided against it.)
Contrary to Segments, Groups are upgraded manually or through an Automation principle — that we will get to in a moment — and they have no value besides what you actually call them.
As you Begin to use this stage, you’ll Start to understand At which Segments and Groups are typically used, however, MailerLite delivers a hand in the event you’re unsure:
Fundamentally, groups are much more of a Deliberate action on a per-subscriber basis, whereas Segments allow you to lump multiple contributors together based on a frequent denominator.
A tad confusing, I’ll admit… but I believe it’s a fair trade-off For the additional flexibility. In any case, they’re discretionary.
Finally, the’Fields’ tab is used to personalize your email copy.
You will notice that MailerLite has Already populated this area with their own areas, such as title, business, and country.
If you want to create your own custom fields, you can do so by Clicking the’Add new field’ button.
So how do they really work?
You can either upload a CSV record of your readers along with Your custom field information in separate columns… or may easily add these fields to a types which will only apply to prospective subscribers.
Here’s a screenshot of a test field I created and added into a form:
I won’t go too much to the shape Stuff here since I have a whole section on that below, but this is the strategy I would recommend if you wanted to use this feature.
Again, once you’ve collected your custom field information from fresh Subscribers, you can pull them into your email content and subject line.
Just click the’Personalization’ drop down and choose your Customized field.
I’m barely scratching the surface Of what’s possible with custom fields, but it’s important that you know this is a feature you can use.
Overall, it’s reasonable to state MailerLite has their subscriber Direction and personalization features on stage. Mailerlite Lietuva
If you are not impressed with what you’ve seen so far, then maybe The page builder will tickle your fancy.
After choosing’Landing Pages’ from the forms page, then you’ll be Able to pick from 8 pre-designed templates.
Again, while the template choice Is not winning any awards, it will offer a fantastic base to work from if, like most people, you do not have that natural eye for layout.
I went ahead and selected the’Lead Generation’ template, though They finally do the identical job; collect an email address.
This time, the editor will give you 17 building blocks to Further build or change your landing page.
Now, I have used my fair share of Visual page builders, and this is already better than a few dedicated solutions *Infection * WPBakery.
Together with the basic building blocks, you can use elements like Hero sections, popup buttons, reviews and countdown timers.
It will not be replacing landing Page builders like Thrive Architect or even LeadPagesanytime soon, but credit where credit due, this item over-delivers on all three kind types.
Form Builder Tool
Unlike some email marketing tools, MailerLite really offers a Decent pair of form building tools.
Not only that, but you can also create popups and landing pages Through this same interface, so there’s a lot to cover .
Let us start with your Bog-standard embedded form.
These forms are created inside MailerLite in order to get An embed code, which you can then put on your site to display it on particular pages.
Despite beginning super fundamental, the form designer allows you To customize everything from the kind style, subjects, background, name, enter fields and, clearly, the button.
Form text may also be edited directly, which Provides you a Opportunity To envision your own copy in real-time.
It would’ve been nice to have Some templates, but as you know, there’s more to some form than just its appearance.
Clicking on the’Settings’ tab will Make It Possible for you to configure the way the Form works, such as adding additional fields and establishing a custom success page.
(There is a GDPR compliance alternative. Sweet.)
And talking of the success webpage…
…MailerLite also enables you to customize the default message, That can replace the embedded form and prevents users .
Last but certainly not least, you Can check how your form displays on cellular by shifting the toggle to reactive mode.
You won’t Have the Ability to make any layout changes , but it makes Sense to test, nevertheless.
So that’s an Summary of the Embedded form but like I said before, you may also create popup forms in MailerLite.
While the Vast Majority of this installation Procedure is identical, you will find Still a few differences I’d like to point out.
Unlike embedded forms, you can choose between a set of Templates:
While this isn’t the most Comprehensive choice, they do offer a good base to work from and the editor is at least as simple to use with this form type.
Clicking the’E-commerce’ template takes me to a preview Before moving to the editor.
Here, you’ll notice there are some new choices under form types Now around:
Contemplating paid programs like Thrive Leads exist for ribbons and slide-in forms, it’s pretty impressive to see this amount of control over popup types.
And, like before, you can perform the styling options to get it Matched with your branding.
Finally, you can choose the close Behavior of your type under the’Settings’ tab.
The default option is that the X icon, but you can swap out this for A”No thanks” text option, or have both.
That is where most email Marketing platforms would render you, but MailerLite has yet another trick up its sleeve.
Reporting & Analytics
Like most tools, you’ll find a summary of your effort Statistics in the main dashboard.
Here you’ll see everything from effort open and click info, Subscriber growth, automation stats, and form signups.
Clicking into any effort will Give you specific coverage for this campaign.
This is where you’ll find a few more advanced statistics such as Unsubscribes, spam complaints, bounces, reading surroundings, email client and much more.
This should be plenty of Information for the average consumer…
…but in Case You really want To dig into the numbers, you can click into individual areas of the report to get a more comprehensive breakdown.
You can find some real gems under These reports.
For example, the’View Email’ tab also shows a click map, so You can see your readers interacted to one another.
Reports for automations will also be Accessible under the’Automations’ tab, even though I found these to be less insightful than campaign reports.
Here’s a quick example:
Overall, MailerLite does a Stellar job with their reporting port, and many will get the available statistics more than sufficient to fulfill their needs.
What is email marketing without a dashboard of automation?
For most reading this, MailerLite’s automation capabilities Could easily make or break this review.
The great news? If you’ve ever used a visual workflow builder, then You’ll immediately feel at home here…
Much like the rest of MailerLite, The automations interface is easy, clean and simple to navigate — something that certainly can’t be said for every email marketing software.
After establishing your trigger, you can begin adding measures to your workflow.
These steps can be anything from sending an email, adding a Postpone, a conditional split, or an action, like transferring a contributor or upgrading their records.
Here’s a simple workflow I put together, where readers Are unsubscribed when they do not open my email within 7 days.
There are innumerable Possibilities when it comes to workflow automations like this, and MailerLite should not have any trouble with the vast majority of use cases.
Granted, it is not quite as Feature-rich as something like ActiveCampaign because it lacks some of the conditional elements. (Split, Visit, Goal, etc.. )
For Instance, there’s now no automation for moving Readers directly into another automation.
That being said, most of these activities can Nevertheless Be achieved by moving Subscribers into different groups that trigger new automation workflows. It is simply much less effective…. yet.
Another question of efficacy here is when creating new mails In the automation workflow builder.
After having an email cube to The workflow, you will be asked to put in your subject line which appears on the block itself.
From there, clicking on the’Design email’ button will fire up the Writer:
Now, you’ll be briefly Redirected to the typical campaign creation wizard, which I covered earlier in the critique.
This time, but as Soon as You’ve created your email, clicking the ‘Done editing’ button will guide you back into the automations workflow instead of the usual sending alternatives.
Finally, your email will probably be Loaded into your own automation.
A nice touch here is having a thumbnail preview of your Email inside your automation block, which means you can find an idea of what it contains at a glance.
While this procedure may seem like A grind on paper, it is really much faster than what I’m utilized to with other email advertising tools — ActiveCampaign being a great example.
On the other hand, if you have come over from something such as ConvertKit where The editor is loaded inside the automations builder, so you will likely find that this downgrade in performance.
It is quick enough for me, Personally, but I guess it is all relative.
Before I wrap up this section, there’s 1 Kind of automation You will not find in MailerLite, also I think it’s very important to highlight.
The ability to activate an automation (or step) based on how Readers interact with the pages on your website.
This kind of behavioral targeting just isn’t accessible MailerLite at this time, so if it’s something you use or intend to utilize, you may want to skip this one. Mailerlite Lietuva
The cost of MailerLite is no doubt among those tools biggest Selling points, and let us face it, most of us love a good deal.
For starters, they offer an unlimited free plan that includes All features (including premium) for as many as 1,000 subscribers.
While there is some subtle Branding on your mails using this plan, it’s still an wonderful alternative for those starting out.
And what about the premium programs?
It ends up, at approximately half of the Cost of the rivalry on average, MailerLite is undoubtedly one of the cheapest options on the industry. Additionally, if you’re ready to pay yearly, you can also get an even greater discount.
In Reality, I haven’t been able to locate anything that does exactly the Exact Same job, cheaper.
MailerLite is one of those few advertising tools to disrupt The (very crowded) industry in the last couple of years, which is no easy feat.
While it is not as quickly as ConvertKit, or as feature-rich As ActiveCampaign, or as template-heavy as MailChimp, it performs exceptionally well at virtually anything you can throw at it.
Overall, I find MailerLite strikes the perfect balance Between flexibility, simplicity and speed, and at a price point you’ll seriously struggle to beat.
Thinking about giving it a twist? Let us know how it works for you In the comments. Mailerlite Lietuva
