If you want to create your own custom fields, you can do this by Clicking on the’Add new field’ button.
So how do they actually work?
You can either upload a CSV record of your readers along with Your custom field data in separate columns… or can easily add these fields to a types which will only apply to future readers.
Here’s a screenshot of a test area I created and added to a form:
I won’t go too much to the shape Stuff here because I have an entire section on that below, but this is the approach I’d recommend if you wished to use this attribute.
Again, as Soon as You’ve gathered your custom field data from new Readers, you are able to pull them in to your email content and subject line.

Let’s begin with your Bog-standard embedded form.

You won’t be able to make any design changes here, but it makes Sense to test, nevertheless.
So that’s an Summary of this Embedded form but like I said before, you may even create popup forms in MailerLite.

Like most tools, you’ll find a summary of your effort Data in the dashboard.
Here you’ll see everything from campaign open and click info, Subscriber growth, automation stats, and kind signups.
Clicking into any effort will Give you special reporting for this effort.
This is where you’ll find some statistics such as Unsubscribes, spam complaints, bounces, studying surroundings, email client and more.
This should be plenty of Information for the ordinary user…
…but if you really want To dig into the numbers, you can click into different areas of the report for a more detailed breakdown.
You can find some real gems beneath These reports.
For example, the’View Mail’ tab also displays a click map, so It’s possible to see precisely how your subscribers interacted to another.

Much like the rest of MailerLite, The automations interface is simple, clean and simple to navigate — something which certainly can’t be said for each and every email advertising software.

These steps could be anything from sending an email, adding a Postpone, a conditional split, or an action, such as moving a subscriber or updating their records.
Here’s a simple workflow I set together, where readers Are unsubscribed if they do not open my email within seven days.
There are innumerable Possibilities in regards to workflow automations like this, and MailerLite should not have any trouble with the vast majority of use cases.
Granted, it’s not quite as Feature-rich as something such as ActiveCampaign since it lacks a number of the conditional elements. (Split, Go To, Goal, etc.. )
For example, there’s currently no automation for transferring Readers directly into another automation.
That being said, the Majority of these activities can still be achieved by moving Subscribers into different classes that activate new automation workflows. It is just not as efficient…. yet.
Another question of efficiency here is when generating new emails From the automation workflow builder.
After having an email block to The workflow, you’ll be asked to put in your subject line which appears on the block itself.
From there, clicking on the’Design email’ button will fire up the Editor:
Now, you’ll be temporarily Redirected to the standard campaign creation wizard, which I covered earlier in the review.
This time, however, once you’ve created your email, clicking on the ‘Done editing’ button will guide you straight back into the automations workflow rather than the usual sending alternatives.
Ultimately, your email will be Loaded into your own automation.
A nice touch here is using a thumbnail preview of your Email within your automation block, which means it’s possible to find an idea about what it contains at a glimpse.
While this process may seem like A grind on newspaper, it’s really much faster than what I am used to with other email marketing tools — ActiveCampaign being a fantastic example.
On the other hand, if you have come over from something like ConvertKit where The editor is loaded inside the automations builder, you’ll likely find this a downgrade in performance.
It is quick enough for me, Personally, but I guess it’s all relative.
Before I wrap up this segment, there is 1 type of automation You won’t find in MailerLite, also I think that it’s very important to highlight.
The ability to activate an automation (or step) based on the way Subscribers interact with all the webpages on your website.
This kind of behavioral targeting just isn’t available in MailerLite right now, so if it’s something you use or plan to use, you might want to skip this one. Mailerlite Review 2018
The cost of MailerLite is no doubt one of the tools largest Selling things, and let us face it, most of us love a good bargain.
For starters, they offer an unlimited free plan that includes All features (including premium) for up to 1,000 subscribers.
While There’s some subtle Branding in your mails using this plan, it is still an wonderful option for those starting out.
And what about the premium programs?
It turns out, at approximately half the Cost of the rivalry generally, MailerLite is undoubtedly one of the least expensive options on the industry. Plus, if you’re willing to pay annually, you can also get a much greater discount.
In fact, I haven’t been able to find anything that does the same job, cheaper.
MailerLite is one of those email advertising tools to interrupt The (very crowded) industry in the last couple of decades, which is no easy feat.
While it’s not as quickly as ConvertKit, or as feature-rich As ActiveCampaign, or as template-heavy as MailChimp, it performs exceptionally well at virtually anything you can throw at it.
Overall, I find MailerLite strikes the perfect balance Between flexibility, simplicity and speed, and all at a price point you will seriously struggle to conquer.
